Gruff Rhys is pleased to announce a new two track single called “People are Pissed” via Rough Trade Records. The tracks are available digitally now and also for pre-order in special Limited Edition cassette format, designed by regular collaborator Mark James.

Gruff says: “The lyrics were basically inspired by the widespread anger I - and many other people felt towards the incompetence and arrogance of the Johnson regime during the lockdowns - not that I feel any different now. I mean the words goes off on one like most of my songs but that was the seed of the idea.”

This single follows Gruff’s chart success in the UK on ‘Seeking New Gods’ (UK Top 10) and an appearance on Imarhan’s critically acclaimed album ‘Aboogi’ featuring on the single “Adar Newlan”.
